Right of withdrawal

This document sets out the rules for returns, refunds and the exercise of the right of withdrawal for purchases made through

in accordance with applicable Spanish consumer protection laws, in particular Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007
(General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users).
1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (14 DAYS)
If the buyer qualifies as a consumer, they may withdraw from the purchase
without giving any reason within 14 calendar days from:
- the day the product is received, or
- the day the last item is received, where an order is delivered in multiple shipments.
2. HOW TO EXERCISE THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must notify Galerie Portraits by email at:
Please include:
- full name
- order number
- product(s) to be returned
- date the order was received
Attaching the order confirmation email is recommended.
3. RETURNING THE PRODUCT
After notifying withdrawal, the customer must send the product back to the return address provided by Galerie Portraits
within 14 calendar days from the date the withdrawal request is communicated.
Returned products must be:
- in perfect condition,
- unused,
- returned in the original packaging whenever possible,
- including all accessories and/or labels, where applicable.
4. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, return shipping costs shall be paid by the customer.
5. REFUNDS
5.1 Refund timeframe
Galerie Portraits will process the refund within 14 calendar days from the date the withdrawal is notified.
However, we may withhold the refund until:
- we receive the returned items, or
- you provide proof of return (e.g. courier receipt or tracking confirmation).
5.2 Refund method
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise by the customer.
No additional fees will be charged to the customer as a result of the refund.
5.3 Refund amount
We will refund:
- the price paid for the returned product(s)
Initial delivery costs:
- will only be refunded if the return concerns the entire order, and in compliance with applicable law
(up to the amount corresponding to standard shipping).
6. EXCEPTIONS TO THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (VERY IMPORTANT)
Under applicable law, the right of withdrawal does not apply in the following cases:
6.1 Customized or made-to-order products
- prints produced on demand,
- products made to special measurements,
- personalized products,
- commissioned artworks.
6.2 Original artworks / unique pieces (depending on product type)
Where the product is unique in nature or clearly produced to order.
6.3 Sealed goods for hygiene or health reasons
Where the seal has been broken after delivery (where applicable).
6.4 Goods that may deteriorate or expire quickly
Including certain food products (such as wine), where applicable for safety or handling reasons.
7. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS (DELIVERY / TRANSPORT DAMAGE)
If an order arrives with visible damage, breakage, or defects, the customer should notify us within a recommended
period of 48 hours of delivery by emailing:

- the outer packaging,
- the product and the damage,
- and your order number.
If the issue is attributable to transport or manufacturing, Galerie Portraits will cover the related costs and will offer, as appropriate:
- a replacement,
- a refund, or
- an equivalent solution.
8. EXCHANGES
Galerie Portraits is not legally required to offer exchanges, but may do so depending on availability.
If an exchange is offered:
- shipping costs may be charged to the customer unless the exchange results from an error on the part of Galerie Portraits.
