Peace: The Longed-for Refuge

Tetiana, a Ukrainian fine arts teacher, was forced to flee her home and leave behind everything she cherished — including her son and pets — when war broke out in Ukraine. Arriving in Spain as a refugee, she faced the overwhelming challenge of starting over in an unfamiliar country, knowing only one family: old friends from Ukraine who lived in Valencia.

Despite the challenges and the painful distance from her loved ones, Tetiana perseveres, determined to build a new life on foreign soil with faith in a better future.

Peace: More Than the End of a War

For Tetiana, Peace represents far more than just the end of conflict in her homeland. It is the symbol of a world where all people can live in safety and protection, free from fear and the trauma of war. It is the reflection of a universal longing that transcends borders and cultures.
