As the violence escalated, even to the point of attempting to take her life, Grace tried to escape within her own country, but she was always found and brutally punished. Exile was her only way out. With her heart torn between fear and hope, she fled to Spain in search of safety. Without documents or guarantees, she faced new challenges, but for the first time in a long time, she could breathe without fear.
